Jenny Kramer knows she isn't normal. After all, not everybody can see the past lives of people around them.
When she befriends Ben Daulton, resident new boy, the pair stumble on an old music box with instructions for “mesmerization” and discover they may have more in common than they thought. Like a past life.
Using the instructions in the music box, Ben and Jenny share a dream that transports them to Romanov Russia and leads them to believe they have been there together before. But they weren't alone. Nikolai, the mysterious young man Jenny has been seeing in her own dreams was there, too. When Nikolai appears next door, Jenny is forced to acknowledge that he has travelled through time and space to find her. Doing so means he has defied the laws of time, and the Order, an ominous organization tasked with keeping people in the correct time, is determined to send him back.
While Ben, Jenny and Nikolai race against the clock - and the Order - Jenny and Nikolai discover a link that joins them in life - and beyond death.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley. I LOVED THIS BOOK! It made me have a lot of feels. Yes feels. Just roll with it. I experienced happiness, sadness, and anger all with this one book. I can't wait for the next one.
I had no idea that this book had to do with time travel until I started reading it. I love time travel since I'm a huge Doctor Who nerd.
So I loved the time travel aspect of it. I also loved the fact that Nikolai crossed centuries to be with Jenny. I loveddddd Nikolai. So dreamy. I also loved Ben even with him being a big pain in the butt. Jenny was also a good female character. She wasn't dependent totally on Nikolai and was strong in her own way.
Through this book we follow Jenny as she starts to remember her previous life of Maria Romanov. She remembers Ben and Nikolai and remembers her previous life and how she is supposed to be with Nikolai. She discovers things about herself that she did not know and in the end her and Nikolai were separated to keep Nikolai safe from those who would send him back to the past.
I loved this book and look forward to the next one. I might add more to this review later but I am squeezing this in between studying for tests!
I give this book
