Quinn’s done the unthinkable: she kissed a guy who is not Carey, her boyfriend. And she got caught. Being branded a cheater would be bad enough, but Quinn is deemed a traitor, and shunned by all of her friends. Because Carey’s not just any guy—he’s serving in Afghanistan and revered by everyone in their small, military town.
Quinn could clear her name, but that would mean revealing secrets that she’s vowed to keep—secrets that aren't hers to share. And when Carey goes MIA, Quinn must decide how far she’ll go to protect her boyfriend…and her promise.
I feel really sorry for Quinn throughout the entire book, she has this huge secret that she is keeping for her bestfriend, he is also practically in love with her other bestfriend (Blake), her mother cheated on her Dad when she was young and and left her, and her father is not the most loving and understanding.
I would just like to say that she handles it a whole lot better than I would've. I wouldn't be able to handle the pressure and caved and told his secret, but she was a good friend, a trustworthy friend.
In the end, the secret "comes out"
and everyone has to eat crow and apologize on how they treated Quinn. That I am glad about.
I hope you liked the review. It is short sweet and to the point, but I this was all I honestly had time for, and all I could remember.
