Kaitlin Malone has been raised to hate the Crutchfields, relatives the Malones have feuded with for as long as Kaitlin can remember. This legacy of hatred has never been questioneduntil Kaitlin meets a boy and begins to fall in love with him before she discovers that he is a Crutchfield . . . and the son of the man her father has gone to prison for killing.
To give the relationship a chance, Kaitlin lies about her identity. But what was supposed to be one temporary untruth leads to yet another, and soon she finds herself tangled in a complicated web of deceit. In the course of her deception, she discovers an even bigger lie: The Crutchfields are not the monsters her family has always portrayed them to be. When Maggie Crutchfield, the matriarch who started the feud, reaches out from the past to right a wrong, she offers Kaitlin a legacy worth holding on to-if she can

Warning: Spoilers.
If you didn't know this by now, you are a dumb person, unless this is your first time reading anything we wrote, then I am truly sorry.
Hey, guys! I am a terrible blogger, but I have a good excuse! I now have two jobs. I have a job as a soul sucked cashier and I work at a child care facility which isn't as bad as I previously thought. I have just now sat down and felt inspired to write. Why you may ask? This is a awful book! You are asking again 'Why?"! Well, I am fixing to tell you!
So, this book is about a very anti-social, Crutchfield hating girl named Kaitlin Malone who falls in love with Bram Crutchfield. (You can see where this is going.) It really reminds me of a weird Hatfield and McCoy and Romeo and Juliet thing. Should you read this book?
Now, I'm going to tell you the "story of their love". She sits under her tree writing. He (Bram) sits under his tree sketching her like a psycho. (Which we later find out) They look up making eye contact and they do this for a week. A week of them looking at each other making eye contact.... I imagine it was probably like this...
Two weeks later, they were professing their love for one another and she had to keep it from her parents that she was "in love with a Crutchfield". Also, that he was the son of the guy that her father killed. How he killed him was undetermined because of the conflicting stories. She also didn't even tell him her real last name. So, after two weeks of knowing each other, he takes her home to meet his Momma. He then proceeds to give her his great- grandmother's bracelet and diaries.
Did I also mention that it is her great-aunt's diary and bracelet? That's right folks. They are distantly related. Now what I'm fixing to tell you is going to get really weird and kind of gross. Okay, The great-aunt (Maggie Crutchfield) apparently had an affair with the great-grandmother's (Amanda Malone) husband(Jared Malone). The child that Maggie and Jared had together is the great-whatever of Kait and the half sibling of Bram's great-whatever. It is seriously getting incestuous up in here.
Yet, she still has the hots for him. Anyway, now back to the incestuous love story. he finds out who she really is and breaks up with her cousin butt. Soon, she is stalking him and he finally forgives her. They get back together and the rest is unclear because it ends right there. I am guessing they get married and have weird two headed children like her sister said. Not only was the story line bland, the characters were too. I personally didn't like this book, but if you like boring characters then you might like this book.
Well, I hoped you liked my review! I rate this....
5 out of 5 cousins for Incest
3 out of 5 stares for Romance
2 out of 5 bricks for Creative Characters
