Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.
decided to give this book a try to see what the fuss was about…..Let’s just say I have been emotional scarred. I am just now getting to writing the review almost three weeks later. I ugly cried and it was bad.
Hazel Grace Lancaster is a lung cancer patient. Her Mom makes her go to a support group in a church. As she goes to this cancer support group thingy, her friend, Isaac, brings his friend Augustus Waters. Immediately when he shows up you are like...........
I'm gonna like this guy.....
He just that strong of a character. Hazel is of course like daannggg, but she is like no I can't. I was making this face the entire time she was fighting it......

I was thinking "Really? You like the dude. Give up."
Gus has osteosarcoma. It is where his bones suck at being bones like Hazel’s lungs suck at being lungs. After support group Augustus, or Gus, asks Hazel to come to his house and watch V for Vendetta after he says she is like Natalie Portman. Before they start the movie they go tour the “basement” aka Gus’ room.

She sees the book he likes and they trade books. She gives him 'An Imperial Affliction' and he gives her some nerdy book. They read the books and love them. As the weeks go by they fall in love. Normally I would be like
But this is a cancer book so my reaction is this….
Now someone please get me a Damon. Elena has one.
Yep. My little heart has been ripped out so much. I strongly advise that you have a mountain of tissues on hand if you read this. My brother came into my room and saw tissues on my bed and was like "What the crap??". I then told him "it was filled with my sadness".

I went from that to this.
Now replace Moffat with John Green. Thanks John Green.
I will probably never read another one of you books because you like to make the reader fall in love with a character them kill them off.
Yes, I did need to use the shirtless, angry Ian Somerhalder.
Overall, I loved then book. I was drowning in tears and I looked like a swollen, splotchy monster, but I like it. I am giving it
