First of all, I would like to say this one was way better than the first. So if the first Hunger Games movie ruined you on the Hunger Games trilogy then I suggest you go see this one.
They changed directors and it turned out ten times better. There were no jerky camera angles,Buttercup was black and they had the "BEACH SCENE". If you are devoted Everlark fangirl like I am you were doing this.
They were my first OTP/Ship.
Honestly, I was not happy for the choice of Finnick, but it is done and I should quit griping about it and accept it. I think it should have been Garrett Hedlund in my opinion, but my Mom was screaming Ryan Reynolds.

We never imagined this would be the guy they would pick.

Ladies, you know you want that.
You do? Are you saying yes to this hunk of hotness up there?
Anyway, back to the movie. They hit the highlights of the book and it turned out great. The only thing I wished they had done differently was her reaction to going back into the Games. She was supposed to have like a mental breakdown and start throwing things, but all she did was run into the woods and cry.
Jennifer Lawrence is an amazing Katniss. Katniss changes throughout the books and she portrays that accurately. At the end of the movie you can see her change to what she becomes in Mockingjay.
Josh Hutcherson is the perfect Peeta. I can't wait to see what how he plays hi-jacked Peeta. Peeta was way more sassy in this movie which made me smile.
Elizabeth Banks does an amazing job with Effie. I love how we see a lot more Effie's reactions in the movie. I believe that is how she would have acted in the books if she was more prominent role in the book.
Woody Harrelson portrays Haymitch as well. He acts exactly how I imagined Haymitch. Good job Woody H.!

Overall, I love this movie. I do have one more thing I did not like. There was too much Gale and Katniss kissing. WAY too much. It was every time they were together "Oh,let's kiss!". I just sat there like this.
As I finish up this review I would just like to put this out here....
It is ok. Shh! Stop crying! (pats your head) Here look at this! BEACH SCENE!
Ok, maybe that makes it worse.
